“When I purchased my new home, the A/C system ran all the time, the house and everything in it was always humid, and some rooms didn’t get enough air flow. Ken and his team were outstanding! They replaced all the old cracked ducts, installed new vents, installed a new thermostat in a new location, and an iwave to purify the air. They finished the work very quickly. Ken is very personable, fair and honest. His team is professional, friendly, skilled and fast. It’s been almost a year since the installation and I can honestly say that the a/c has performed very well. “Of course we had AC troubles after hours, but that didn’t stop this crew from kicking into overdrive to help us out. We had an amazing rep come out first thing in the morning to diagnose the problem. He was very knowledgeable, polite and wanted to make sure we weren’t left without AC for very long. He worked together with the owner to make sure the parts we needed were available and ready to install at the end of his day. Once the parts were replaced, he stuck around and made sure the air was blowing cold and going the right direction and checked the lines before heading home (after hours) to his home. I can’t recommend this company enough! Not that you would ever want an emergency AC problem, but if it happens, call them! I’ve already scheduled our next maintenance service with them!”

“After much research, and then several estimates, we chose Coolhouse to install our new AC/heat pump unit. What an excellent choice we made! What were the positives in our experience? Coolhouse may be based in Micanopy, but they had no difficulty servicing our house in Northwest Gainesville. Ken with Coolhouse presented us with several options, each one clearly explained. Our unit was not merely a swap out, as we were changing from furnace heat to electric heat pump. Plus, our original unit was almost 23 years old. Ken made sure that everything was done to code, as requirements had changed. He also took care of the necessary updates to fix the old install that had the main return inefficiently pulling air through a closet. Ken and his installation team were courteous, respectful, and when the job was complete, cleaned up all areas nicely. Also, great with communication which is important when you’re anxious to get a project completed. What were the negatives? NONE. Definitely plan to continue with Coolhouse for maintenance. If we could give more than 5 stars, we would”
